Pomace is the ground flesh and pits left after pressing. According to the International Olive Oil Council, olive-pomace oil is the oil comprising the blend of refined olive-pomace oil, and virgin olive oil fit for consumption as they are.
Pomace oil offers the right price-quality ratio, ideal for frying and kitchen use. It is virtually flavorless, which can be great for dishes that require no flavor from their oils.
